Good day, I am Erika and I have been part of the Pam Golding Property Group since 2010. While the Hartbeespoort agency covers all areas in the region, I specialise in sales and rentals in Hartbeespoort and Brits, with particular focus on the Pecanwood Golf Estate. In order to be able to provide my clients with a fully professional service I have successfully completed the NQF5 PDE (Level 5 Professional Designation Exam) and MPRE (Master Practitioner in Real Estate) qualifications in Real Estate.
As the property market is a highly organic and dynamic environment, professional qualifications are only part of the journey towards developing a full understanding of what makes this market ‘tick’. I have therefore also continually made the effort to stay updated with both the local and broader national property trends so as to fully understand and assist with the property needs and aspirations of both buyers and sellers.
These efforts have been rewarded by the personal satisfaction that comes from helping a client through a successful sale or purchase and also by achieving the single highest value sale in Pecanwood Estate and the greatest total value of property sales during the past eight years. In addition, I also received the National Selling Franchisee Award in 2014, 2016 - 2023 and the National Franchise Award in 2014, 2015, 2019 - 2023.
Among those polled in a survey conducted by the UK Mail newspaper in 2014, buying and selling a house was felt to be more stressful than bankruptcy or divorce. The mechanics of South Africa’s property market are much the same and so mindful both of the fact of these pressures, on both sellers and buyers, and that for most people a property purchase is a lifetime investment, I go to great lengths to make sure that I fully understand the needs and expectations of my buyers and sellers.
The transition into the real estate arena came naturally to me and my experience in a corporate environment at an EXCO level provided the strong professional business experience necessary to see our business grow and develop and to manage the sales and marketing process through to the completion of a successful purchase or sale for my clients. I also admit, very happily, to being a real ‘people person’. I absolutely love the opportunity to meet new people and relish the challenge of marketing a seller’s property and matching a buyer’s property requirements with the home of their dreams.
Being professional, informed, honest and sincere are my favourite ‘must have’ qualities about being an estate agent and I take pride in supplying my clients with good advice and giving an objective as possible an opinion on any of their property related needs. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, the outdoors and playing golf and who wouldn’t on the beautiful Pecanwood estate.
