Our legacy
In 1976, Pam Golding embarked on a journey that would change the real estate industry in South Africa. She had a keen eye for luxury and a heart full of passion for people and property, and from the moment she sold her first home, she knew she had found her calling.
With a confident smile and a twinkle in her eye, she would approach potential buyers and declare, "I've got something that I know you will love." Time and time again, she was absolutely right.
But Pam's success was not just a result of her charm, style and business sense. It was her honesty, integrity and values that truly set her apart.

Our leadership
In 1995, Dr Andrew Golding was appointed as our Chief Executive. His vision and dedication have been integral to the company's growth, expanding its reach to hundreds of offices worldwide.
Global success has not, however, come at the expense of Pam Golding Properties' roots as a family business. Andrew has preserved and entrenched our founder's legacy, upholding the values instilled by Pam herself.
He is a trusted authority in real estate, recognised for his global networking and ambassadorial role in promoting South Africa. He is the former President of FIABCI (International Real Estate Federation) and IEASA (Institute of Estate Agents of South Africa) and board member of ooba and REBOSA (Real Estate Businesses of South Africa).

Our milestones
The founding of Pam Golding Properties
Pam Golding sold her first home from a converted garage. From the start, she was professional and tenacious, honest and optimistic. Her grace and integrity redefined the perception of the real estate industry in South Africa.
Opening of our London office
Against all odds, Pam Golding opened an office in Belgravia's Motcomb Street. "I heard about Pam long before I met her,” Victoria Mitchell of Savills Ltd said. “She was the talk of the town. Everyone in London was saying: 'Have you met Pam Golding?' She is an agent par excellence. She just lives, thinks, breathes it."
Opening of our Johannesburg office
Pam had no stock and no agents, but she used her charm and persuasive power to sign an exclusive mandate, then placed an advert in the Star Property Guide. Along with her brand new listing, she unashamedly invited agents who were interested in selling properties over R500 000 to meet with her. She recruited six agents that day, and grew the office to 26 agents in the first year.
Andrew Golding joins Pam Golding Properties as Chief Executive
When Andrew, a medical doctor, took over the reins, it was clear that he had inherited his mother's bedside manner, warmth, and business acumen. He has never compromised on what made the family business so respected: empathy, integrity and professionalism.
Launch of pamgolding.co.za
This was one of the first commercial property websites in South Africa. It has been recognised globally by peers, winning the International Property Award for Best Real Estate Agency Website in South Africa and Africa.
Strategic association formed with Savills
An association connecting Pam Golding Properties to 600 offices in 60 countries.
Partnership formed with mortgage originators, ooba.
Recipient of multiple awards
Including Best Real Estate Agency, and the Marketing South Africa 5-star award. Pam Golding was also the first female recipient of the Business Leader Award from the Afrikaans Chamber of Commerce.
Establishment of Pam Golding Properties Zimbabwe
This was the first African office outside of South Africa. This network now extends to almost a dozen African countries.
Establishment of Pam Golding Properties Training Academy
Formed to meet and exceed the Professional Standards requirements, as well as to continually elevate the level of service and skill above industry norms.
Cape Times KPMG Business Personality of the Year
As founder and chairperson of the Pam Golding Group, Pam was recognised for her contribution to the Western Cape economy and its people through training initiatives and grassroots programmes.
Relocation of our Head Office
We moved to Monterey, Bishopscourt - a property Pam Golding Properties had sold several times, and eventually bought.
