We loved our cosy house on the Links, next to a forest, but we have moved …. again …. this time to Santareme … we want to catch fish from our stoep! And surf and paddle more …
It is our 10th house since we moved to St Francis permanently in 2005:
We first stayed with Janey’s parents in the Village (Laura Rd), then moved to the Rushmere’s house on the river (Harley St), then Reservoir Rd, then the Wylie’s front row house in Frank Rd, then we bought in de Jonge Thomas (CSF), then the canals (Anchor Lane), then we built on the canals (Moby Dick Island) … with a year in the Purdy’s house (Lyme Rd North) while we built, then we built (in 11 weeks!) on the Links (Cruden Bay Rd) …. and now Esmaralda Road, Santareme, the one suburb we have never lived in!
As an estate agent, it’s useful to be able to talk from experience about all our suburbs. All are special, it’s difficult to choose.
