Close to 60% or 28 of the 48 available plots have been sold in Kerzner Estate at Leeukoppie, high on the mountainside in one of the Cape’s most sought-after locations between Llandudno and Hout Bay.

The eco-friendly estate with magnificent views over the Atlantic Ocean to Chapman’s Peak and the Hout Bay valley was launched in October 2021. Pam Golding Properties has a mandate to sell individual plots in the secure and exclusive 10-hectare estate adjacent to the Table Mountain National Parks, with various hiking and nature trails right on the doorstep.

“Installation of civils has been completed, four designer homes are complete, with others in development, and construction of the gym and yoga pavilion is in progress and due for completion at the end of the year,” says Samantha Nel, Pam Golding Properties area manager for the Western Cape region.

The remaining available plots all over 1 000sqm are priced from R3.7 million, including VAT, with no transfer duty payable. Buyers to date are a mix of international buyers – mainly from Germany, locals from the Western Cape, and purchasers from upcountry.

Adds Nel: “Plots of this size and in such scenic surroundings are very scarce, so this is a rare opportunity to build your dream home in one of the most desirable locations along this stretch of coast.”

The ethos of the Kerzner Estate at Leeukoppie is to remain considered and mindful in developing the land. Strict measures have been taken to maintain and enhance the natural beauty of the environment, including extensive removal of alien vegetation and replanting of indigenous fynbos.

The architectural guidelines emphasise luxury, sustainability and attention to the environment. Buyers undertake to complete construction of their homes within four years after purchase, and gardens must adhere to waterwise indigenous landscaping principles.

A unique benefit to home buyers in Kerzner Estate is that five of South Africa’s leading architectural firms have made themselves available to be commissioned by buyers of stands to design and build their homes. Already familiar with the site, the architectural guidelines and other requirements of building on the site, these are Craft of Architecture, Fabian and Make Architects, GAPP Architects, Metropolis and StudioMAS. Buyers will need to negotiate their own requirements if they decide to commission any of these architects.

The Kerzner Estate at Leeukoppie is a haven of tranquillity with unsurpassed views from every aspect. It is also within easy reach of major amenities such as Cape Town’s city centre and the V&A Waterfront, several Blue Flag beaches and the internationally acclaimed Constantia Valley wine route.

Kerzner Estate at Leeukoppie is sure to appeal to discerning buyers who want to live in tune with nature.
