The nearby Lake Eland Nature Reserve is home to an array of wildlife such as Eland, Zebra and Giraffe. The 5000 acre reserve offers 4 x 4 trails, horse riding, hiking, picnic spots, braai facilities, shops and a tea garden. The Port Shepstone Country Club is a birdwatchers paradise and is only a 10 minute drive from the area. 



The Port Shepstone Country Club offers an array of spots, including golf, bowls, hockey, squash and cricket. Residents also have free range of the stunning Indian Ocean for surfing or fishing.

The town stretches along 4km of beautiful coastline, featuring a children’s playground, paddling pool, excellent scuba diving as well as surfing. Fishing is popular in the lagoon and the annual sardine run generates much excitement among the locals and holidaymakers.
