Hello, I am Jeanine and I have been with Pam Golding Properties, Franschhoek, for the past 14 years. Having lived in the Franschhoek Valley for the past 30 years, I have a wealth of knowledge combined with family history dating back to 1965 in the village. It brings me great pleasure in sharing my insights of the area to prospective clients. Franschhoek is one of the oldest towns in South Africa dating back to 1688 when 176 French Hugenot refugees were given land by the Dutch government in a valley called Olifantshoek (“Elephants Corner”). The village was so named because elephants used to cross into the village to calve. Many settlers named their farms after the areas in France from where they came, eg La Motte, La Cotte, Champagne, La Provence to name a few.
I am very blessed to have been involved with the marketing and sales of many of these buildings and farms. I am an energetic, dedicated and trustworthy agent who has achieved Top Agent throughout my real estate career. I love nature and outdoor activities, going on adventure traveling from sailing a dhow in Madagascar, to the flashing lights of New York. I appreciate my indigenous garden, hiking or trail horse riding.
