Mark your calendars, Eagle Canyon!
On 19 September from 2pm, Linda Nunes is bringing the community together for an afternoon of fun, laughter and good company — all while supporting a very special cause.
The Teddy Bear Picnic forms part of the Pam Golding Properties Gauteng Metro CSI programme, with the support of the Heart of Gold Trust — helping us turn a fun community day into something that can make a real difference in the lives of children in need.
What’s happening?
We’re hosting our Teddy Bear Picnic right here in Eagle Canyon Golf Estate, and everyone is welcome.
There’ll be:
- Live music
- A jumping castle for the kids
- Picnic seating and umbrellas
- Food available to purchase
- Drinks available to purchase
You’re also welcome to bring your own picnic basket, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks and enjoy the afternoon with family, friends and neighbours.
Please note that no alcohol may be brought into the event. Alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase from the on-site drinks truck.
Bring a Teddy, Make a Difference
This year, we’re hoping to collect 1,000 teddy bears for children in need.
We’re asking everyone who attends to bring a teddy bear along. Whether you bring one teddy or a few, every contribution will help us get closer to our goal — and bring a little comfort, joy and reassurance to a child who needs it.
Why come along?
Because it’s a chance to enjoy a relaxed afternoon with the people around you, bring the kids, meet your neighbours and be part of something that gives back to the community.
So grab your family, pack your picnic basket and, most importantly, bring a teddy.
Let’s fill Eagle Canyon with teddies, laughter and community spirit and see if we can reach our 1,000 teddy bear goal together.
