Wellness and Frail Care

Pinelands Grove has developed a health and frail care facility on site with a wide range of professional nursing services on offer to residents assuring that immediate medical needs can and will be met by competent, dedicated staff. By encouraging wellness, this facility will provide a varied range of services to residents. Care packages have been designed to accommodate the needs of residents. Safety is a prime priority. Here residents can have peace of mind as a secure safety system has been installed. Closed circuit television cameras at entrance doors as well as the reception area allow for 24-hour a day monitoring. Access to the premises is controlled by qualified security guards and visitors report to the reception to ensure a safe and secure environment is maintained at all times.

Pinelands Grove will also be equipped with a state-of-the-art fire and smoke detection system with at least one detector in each apartment. Facilities have been designed with wheelchairs and walkers in mind ensuring access for all residents at all times. The entire perimeter of the property is protected with an electric fence that is monitored 24-hours a day, seven days a week

Management

Pinelands Grove provides residents with the highest standard of care in a homely, secure and comfortable environment. Through its partnership with the Cape Peninsula Organisation for the Aged (CPOA) relationships are nurtured to create an environment where residents are comfortable and feel at home. Residents will receive the highest standard of care and nursing within a homely environment. They promote quality of life, the maintenance of independence, the preservation of dignity by becoming members of a senior centre and encourage participation of older persons in all aspects of community life.

CPOA’s competitive health care makes provision for those in need of extra special care and this is provided in all CPOA health care facilities. Trained health care professionals encourage independence and the quality of care is of the highest standard. High expectations are set for staff incorporating a culture of them being friends with the residents and is highly encouraged. Nothing is more important than caring for residents and ensuring their problems and needs are addressed.

Location

Pinelands Grove, thanks to its location, offers all of Pinelands to its residents. The suburb is home to two shopping centres, a number of coffee shops and restaurants plus the top food and retail shopping stores. Doctors, dentists and other professional services including lawyers, architects and travel agents are all available in the friendly neighbourhood. Several churches are located in the suburb as well as schools.
