Banana Production:

Sugar Beans:
Matuba undertook a contract to produce quality sugar bean seeds on a 27-ha drip irrigation in April 2018 for a regional seed marketing company. The yield of 2.2t/ha was good for this variety and the quality was excellent.
Sweet Potatoes:
Matuba has an existing, continuous contract to supply graded sweet potatoes to the SA market.
Cotton:
Matuba has an agreed, 3rd party contract, for a cotton crop to be grown on some of its not-yet-utilized pivot fields. A Portuguese textile company is expanding its raw cotton offtake base in Mozambican to feed into its cotton gin in Xai Xai and then on to its lint factory in Maputo. The next crop will be planted in October 2024. Expected to have a yield of 3.5kg per Ha.
