I came to Mozambique over 8 years ago now, from London, England where I had been working for the Metropolitan Police in Brixton. I had taken a career break for a year in an attempt to recharge my batteries and flown out to South Africa looking for volunteering opportunities. After supporting Sir Ian Botham’s charity walk across RZA I watched some of the England Cricket tour with the Barmy Army and then received a call to come out to Mozambique and support a small, independent orphanage, in rural Katembe, to help them settle into a new management structure and routine. I got myself a visa and came across for a visit for a week or so to see if I liked the place and have never left!
Now, over 8 years on, having spent the first 2.5 at the orphanage, I live and work in Maputo & Pemba and am one of the country's biggest fans! I still support the orphanage in a more sustainable way than before through fundraising events and donation drives. Through Pam Golding, I am blessed to be able to use the fantastic resources and expertise of the country team to provide first-class relocation & real estate services to new people arriving here and seeking their perfect beach property.
I also manage the Pemba portfolio for both Leisure and Commercial sales and rentals.
I am also the agent responsible for farm sales across Mozambique. If you are looking to grow trees, farm livestock, or install a fish farm, I am also your girl!
