Hi, I am Eric. I joined Pam Golding Properties in 2008, and I am qualified as a Professional Practitioner in Real Estate. I love property and people, so my job in real estate is a pleasure! I am also passionate about the Pam Golding Properties brand. I have been in real estate for nearly ten years, and I have successfully obtained my NQF4 and Professional Practitioner in Real Estate (PPRE) qualifications. I fell in love with Prince Albert over 25 years ago, and have lived here for the past 11 years. I began my career with Pam Golding Properties approximately nine years ago after a long standing career in corporate Human Resources. I have always had a keen interest in people and property, so it was a natural progression for me to become an agent. I pride myself in building trusting relationships with my clients, gaining the confidence of both sellers and buyers, and convincing them that I am acting in good faith and in their best interests.

I take a more reserved approach when guiding my buyers through the purchasing process, and I do not believe in a “hard sell” tactic. This stressful process should reveal itself organically, with me as the facilitator rather than the conductor. My clients appreciate this respectful approach. Every day and every sale is an adventure for me. I thrive on the challenges and unique opportunities each client brings. And each property is important, whether it carries a multi-million rand price tag, or a more moderate asking price.

What gives me particular satisfaction is witnessing the joy my purchaser’s experience when they finally acquire a property in Prince Albert! For many the process may have taken them years in searching for the right property in the right price bracket. For others, it’s a quick process – they arrive in town, fall in love with Prince Albert, and purchase! Similarly, with sellers, I get great satisfaction from securing the sale of their property which means that they are then able to move on with the next step in their lives.

The cherry on the cake is when as an agent you achieve the actual asking price, which I have managed on more than one occasion. I have a large portfolio of properties for sale in the residential, commercial and agricultural categories. I have been fortunate to have a number of highlights in my real estate career, but there are two that stand out. The one was selling a property that had quite literally been on the market for ten years, and the other was selling the iconic Swartberg Hotel.
