Appropriately named after its Zulu meaning 'valley of flowers', the Zimbali resort is endowed with lush vegetation and an abundance of indigenous wildlife. Among many others, Zimbali is home to over 220 species of birds and crowned eagles are regularly sighted. Blue duikers and bushbuck also wander through the successfully rehabilitated forest flora.

Inspired by an architectural 'code' rather than a style, Zimbali properties encompass elements of the tropical Asian vernacular. Due to its safety and security features, Zimbali is often the preferred location for individuals seeking secure family homes and holiday accommodation in Durban. An electrified security fence protects the entire estate with access points controlled through guarded gates. A comprehensive full time management team controls diplomatic-level security with unobtrusive systems and checkpoints. Browse more details about Zimbali accommodation below.

Investor's paradise

Investor's paradise

A bold decision in the early 1990s by the developers to launch such a multi-billion rand project so far north of Durban’s Metropole, is now reaping rewards many times over. With the subsequent property explosion on the surrounding Dolphin Coast, the new King Shaka International Airport only 10 minutes away and the ever expanding mayor regional economic hubs nearby, Zimbali is a great investment. It's perfectly positioned to offer an idyllic and convenient lifestyle for both permanent residents and holiday seekers alike.
