A masterpiece, designed by Ernie Els, South African champion, the golf course at Anahita is carefully woven into the tropical landscape. Winner of the African Property Award for Best Golf Development in 2008, Anahita’s golf course is set against a backdrop of lush mountains and fringed by a vast, crystal-clear lagoon. With large fairways and five sets of tees, each of the course’s eighteen challenging holes is sure to provide thrills and satisfaction for every level of golfer, from beginner to scratch player. Six stunning ocean side holes offer players the world’s most beautiful finish. This 6,828 metre (7,580 yard) championship 18-hole par-72 course, built to USGA standards in March 2008, is the first of its kind in Mauritius. The spectacularly situated Mauritian-styled golf clubhouse provides a 90-seat restaurant featuring panoramic 18th green and lagoon views from its terrace. A vibrant bar, well-stocked pro shop, shower, locker and fitness centre facilities, are located on the premises.
