This busy service station is located in the main street running through the Karoo town of Petrusville and is sold as a going concern. It is also on one of the main routes used by manganese ore trucks running daily between mines in the north and the port in Gqeberha. The well maintained and spotless station extends over three adjoining plots and, over and above fuel sales, it includes a range of other features geared towards traveller service and convenience. Operating 24 hours a day 7 days a week it offers a well stocked convenience shop that also has a filtered water dispenser and coffee station, neat and clean public toilets (8 female and 8 male with hand basins and hand blow dryers), four shower rooms, accessed by a token entry system, which can be used by long haul truckers and travellers in general, and a fully equipped bakery that produces fresh rolls on week days.
All fuel pumps and storage tanks (petrol, diesel and parafin) belong to the business and not the fuel distributor. The convenience shop comes complete with all shelving, display fridges, coffee machine and filtered water station. There are lots of store rooms for stock for the shop and extra storage space which can be converted back into workshops. An extensive under-roof area has a built-in braai and plenty of parking /storage space. There is also one walk-in freezer and a separate walk-in cold room, two ice making machines, and several free standing deep freezers. The main office is fully furnished and is kept comfortable during the hot summers via a roof-mounted watercooler. Electricity outages are taken care of with two 3-phase generators (one 25kva and one 20kva), as well as an 8kw invertor with 10 roof mounted solar panels and four batteries, which runs the forecourt and main office. In case of water supply problems there are four 5000 litre water tanks with pressure pumps. All of this and more included in the price.
