Hello, I am Sunet Schoonees, your local property professional in Somerset West, Strand and Gordon’s Bay.
I joined Pam Golding Properties after more than twenty years working in communications, marketing and stakeholder engagement. My career has taken me across South Africa, the UK, USA, New Zealand and the British Virgin Islands – all stunning places where I held senior roles and co‑founded a successful sailing business.
My experiences shaped my ability to communicate with clarity, manage complex projects and build authentic, trusted relationships.
I have been a proud Somerset West resident and homeowner since 2018, and a trustee within Sitari Country Estate. With my son attending school here and our lives firmly rooted in the Helderberg, I have a genuine appreciation for the grounded lifestyle, entrepreneurial spirit and sense of community that make our region so special.
I bring a calm, organised and solutions‑driven approach to all I do. It’s important to me to offer my clients a professional, seamless and well‑communicated experience — whether buying, selling or simply exploring options.
Outside of work, I am a devoted mom who loves exploring the Helderberg through the eyes of my adventurous, golden‑haired son. I stay physically fit because it means I keep my mind strong, curious, youthful and committed to listen with humble wisdom.
