Gail Howell

Hello, my name is Gail and I am a relocated Durbanite who would not change our lovely Cape lifestyle for anything. I was born in England but schooled in Natal and graduated from The University of Natal (Durban) with a B. Soc Sci. After working for a local newspaper for a few years, I went to live in Mauritius where I indulged in my love of warm tropical waters and a gentle lifestyle before returning to South Africa. Once back home in Natal I worked for a local and international freight company and transferred in the early 1990’s to the Cape where I have lived in Somerset West ever since.

After a foray into the wine industry for four years, I settled into selling real estate in the boom times of the early 2000’s. I have a Professional Practitioner Certificate in Real Estate (NQF4) qualification. I enjoy finding the perfect home for a buyer and I have clients who have remained loyal to me over the years, buying and selling multiple properties from me. When not busy with real estate I enjoy wine tasting, (and helping annually with garargiste wine making), walking, the odd game of boulle, an occasional dip into the ocean, cooking for family and friends and reading.
