Hi, I am Clinton Scott. I specialize in the residential side of the property market. I am a person that takes great pride in what I do and always strive for perfection. I understand that when buying or selling a home, it’s not just a transaction, it’s a huge decision financially as well as at times an emotional one. I strive to make this venture as easy as possible on my clients.
Referencing some of my earlier years before entering the property industry, I had in early 1991 started my career in the hospitality industry. I did hospitality management training (hotel management) which lasted for a period of 3 years. On achieving my qualification, I worked in various different hotels in a managerial/supervisory position. Working in hotels that were 3 – 5 star exclusive hotels afforded me the opportunity of hosting many well known celebrities such as musicians, singers, presidents, sporting stars and CEO’s of Blue Chip companies. Having worked in this industry has certainly given me an understanding of people from different walks of life with various needs and personal demands. Long hours in this industry has also prepared me for the hours and dedication one may need to be working in the property market.
The love of working and interacting with people has definitely placed me in good stead for this industry.
Hospitality entails a lot of marketing which has lined up with marketing in property in every way. This I believe is a seamless transition as in hospitality you are a marketing person over and above your normal duties. Constant promotion of a client’s property and facilities on social media, word of mouth or in whatever way necessary is required.
In my spare time I am a musician and vocalist and do recording sessions with other musicians for possible gigs. Music is my one passion. I also run a Lions rugby supporters page on Facebook, obviously being an avid rugby supporter. I do, I might add, love following most sporting codes.
