Hi! I’m Vana McGee of Pam Golding Properties in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). I specialise in residential real estate in Summerstrand, Walmer and Greenshields Park, although I’ve sold homes in most areas of the Friendly City during my 21 years in property. And nothing makes my day more than getting a thank you letter from a happy buyer or seller – I treasure my collection!
After matriculating in Port Elizabeth, I went into commercial banking and then finance. In 2002, it was time for a career change, so I applied for a position with Ian Olivier Properties, and was accepted, much to my delight. Twelve years later, Ian took over the Pam Golding Properties franchise and I moved with him and his team. I just love what I do and the people I work with, my colleagues and my clients. In addition to the valuable skills and qualifications I acquired in my banking and finance years, I hold a Professional Practitioner in Real Estate qualification, and I’m enrolled in a Continual Development Programme.
My hard work and determination have been rewarded by becoming a Gold Club Member, one of my proudest moments ever! I feel my strengths also lie in my communication and negotiation skills, and it helps that I really love people! I get a true sense of reward by fulfilling my sellers’ mandates and placing buyers in the homes they’ve set their hearts on.
In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, reading and spending time with family and friends.
