Hello, I’m Lauren Meyer and I have been working with Pam Golding Properties since 2014. I specialise in property sales and leisure rentals in the Port Alfred and Kleinemonde area. Naturally a people’s person, I enjoy spending time with friends and family in my free time. I am a young and hardworking lady who enjoys a challenge and has a flair for creative thinking. I studied towards a BA Degree in Media, Communication and Culture at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and majored in Public Relations. In my first year at varsity, I completed my NQF4 in Real Estate – “no brainer” in my understanding as I have been surrounded by the industry my entire life.
Having grown up in Port Alfred, it seemed fitting for me to return to my roots and do what I love, in the place I know best. My first sale, without a doubt the most memorable so far, happened in the blink of an eye on Sunday afternoon. The office was abuzz with activity when a delightful couple came in looking for retirement property. Conveniently, having had the key, I took them our right away and the contract was signed and accepted that same day.
If asked to mention one thing in particular that excites me in this industry, it would be the joy that comes with helping people further their lives whether moving on or starting out, it is all very exciting! Throughout my life I have been enthused by interior design, architectural planning and aesthetic detail. I firmly believe in my capability as an estate agent who can offer creative insight into both property potential and marketing.
In my free time I enjoy photography and am often found to be chasing sunsets. More recently two of my “still life” shots were selected as finalists for the 2015 iPhoneography competition. An avid sportswoman, I love a good game of tennis or squash and have recently taken up golf as an addition. While still learning the ropes and perfecting my stance, I hope to make it around the course without losing a ball, by next year.
