I was a Pam Golding agent in Cape Town in the early 1990’s before embarking on a corporate career. A B.Journalism (Rhodes Universtiy) and an M.Phil (Futures Studies) at Stellenbosch’s Graduate School of Business set the tone for life in big business - strategic planning and building vital communication networks within the company, the country and internationally. As a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) I helped establish Africa as a region and joined the IABC’s international executive board based in San Francisco. After stepping away from the corporate world I focused my skills on the survival of classical music- fundraising for the arts, most importantly guiding the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra towards financial sustainability.
In 2010 I moved to Plettenberg Bay - for its peace, immense beauty and village life. It’s amazing how much it offers a diverse spectrum of people, particuarly in the property environment. Having come full circle back to selling real estate, I so enjoy the enhancements that technology and social media bring to the industry.
