“Integrity is about walking your talk.”
Good day. I’m Iain Sinclair, glad to meet you. I am no further than a call away and would love to chat. I specialise in the selling of farms, mini-farms, life style and residential properties in the KZN Midlands. Whether you are a purchaser or have a property to sell, please let me know your needs and I assure you of my best professional attention.
I have been in the industry with Pam Golding Properties since 2002 and have enjoyed every minute of it. People matter to me and I have a positive outlook and great faith in the future of the RSA, so don’t hesitate to allow me to be that shoulder for you to lean on. I am a fluent Zulu linguist and pride myself on my general knowledge of agriculture.
On completing my schooling in Pietermaritzburg in the mid-1960’s, I went on to study dairy and animal husbandry at the Cedara College of Agriculture, with further studies on small stock and wool farming at Middelburg in the Eastern Cape. This knowledge was then put into practice with over 40 years of tilling the soil, managing timber plantations and milking dairy cows on the family farm in the Dargle Valley. I am still involved in agriculture and enjoy the daily challenges that I am presented with.
My early experience in the property industry was gained in the village of Hilton, where I successfully marketed residential properties, development properties, bed and breakfasts and the occasional commercial property. I am now based in Nottingham Road with a foot in the Howick office and I pride myself on being familiar with many farms and town houses, stretching from Richmond in the South to Vryheid in the North of KZN.
Whether it is a house in the Gowrie or one of the Amber villages, or maybe an extensive thorn- veld beef farm, that is of interest to you, I just might have the property that tick’s the boxes of your wish-list. I take pride on servicing my personal web-listing, and make every effort to attain an asking price for a Seller or matching a purchaser with a property that suits his pocket.
When not being stimulated by the marketing of a property or the cut and thrust of a deal; I spend quality time communing with nature or enjoying my family and the company of my grandchildren, or just listening to the sound of cows “munching grass”. There are great rewards in teaching young people to love nature or make friends and building a relationship with a farm bred pony. Strong horses have a particular appeal for me and I am indeed fortunate to own a number of Shire breeding mares.
There is no better way to round off a busy week than a relaxing Sunday out-ride viewing the country side from on the back of a horse.
I am well aware of my responsibilities as a human custodian of the natural resources of our planet and have made a small contribution by being one of the initiators of The Dargle Conservancy. I also find great satisfaction in the achievements of disadvantaged scholars who have been assisted and encouraged to persevere with their studies by going the extra mile.
I served for a period, both, on the committee and as the chairman of the Howick Land Owner’s Association. While for over 20 years with my wife’s help, we supervised with the loading of the cattle and ensured the smooth running of the monthly livestock sale which is held at the Lion’s River Sale Yards.
