Hi, I'm Gareth Bailey, Area Principal for the Pam Golding Properties Durban Coastal franchise which covers Durban North, La Lucia, Umhlanga and Umdloti. I began my real estate career in 2006, after completing my Business Science Degree, with honours in Information Systems, at the University of Cape Town. When I'm not busy with property, you can find me out on the mountain bike trails, enjoying our awesome beaches or exploring the outdoors with my family.
During my 15 year career in real estate, I have completed my Professional Practitioner in Real Estate (PPRE) and Master Practitioner in Real Estate (MPRE) qualifications. I am co-principal with my wonderful business partner, Carol Reynolds. We have both been fortunate enough to receive the "National Franchisee of the Year" award and our firm has also received the "National Franchise of the Year" award, both in terms of sales quantity and Rand sales value, on multiple occasions.
I am passionate about information systems, and using technology to drive competitive advantage for the benefit of our agents and clients. I love working with our wonderful team of agents and administrators and assisting them with their often challenging, but usually very rewarding, job of selling our clients' homes.
Our franchise covers residential and commercial rentals and sales, as well as developments, which is another big passion of ours! We have built great relationships with quality developers in our area and thrive on getting involved at conceptualisation stage and then seeing the development through to client hand-over.
Our recent list of developments includes Coral Point and Signature in Sibaya, The Onyx in New Town Centre Umhlanga and Kent in La Lucia.
