Hi, I am Samantha Wade, the principal for Pam Golding Properties in Newcastle. I have owned my franchise for over 16 years and it is a family business I inherited from my mother, which I hope to pass down to my two sons one day.
I hold a full qualification in real estate after completing my NQF5 and Professional Designated Exam some years ago, I am a sectional title specialist after doing an intensive course through the University of Cape Town, I am also a qualified trainer and assessor in real estate (completed through Chartal) and I hold an Honours Degree in Psychology.
While I spent most of my early childhood in Tokai, Cape Town, at 10 years old my parents relocated to the small, bustling town of Newcastle where I have spent the majority of my life, surrounded by the northern Drakensberg mountain range, green pastures and rolling hills.
Having spent over 40 years in this town, I have a unique understanding of its diverse culture, its people and what the town has to offer. My business is therefore diverse and offers a range of real estate services from residential, commercial, and rental properties to small holdings and industrial property. Being a small business owner means I have to be versatile, innovative, and tenacious.
My passion is to help people sell, let or buy their homes with the least amount of stress, allowing them to focus on the excitement of the adventure they are embarking upon, with honesty and integrity that builds a long-lasting, trusting relationship. I also thrive in building a highly skilled, professional, dynamic team which espouses the same values and ethics as I do. Real estate has kept me captivated with its constant challenges as no one day is the same as another.
Some of my achievements are having won the Regional Marketing Trophy, the Regional Franchisees’ Franchisee of the year and the Most Improved Franchise in KwaZulu-Natal. I have assisted over 10 intern agents achieve their qualifications, have celebrated after a number of my agents have achieved the highly coveted title of GoldClub Agent and have delighted when other team members have received accolades in their various roles in real estate.
My happy place is being surrounded by family and special friends at a braai. I enjoy spending time with my animals in the garden, and I love decorating, painting, writing and reading.
