Hello, I’m Barbara Rowley and have been actively engaged as a property professional since 2007. My brush with property started in Hout Bay where I worked as the ‘Office Manager’ for a well-known Agency, for four years. This was where I was introduced to the world of property, and in particular, learnt the processes required once a sale had been made, which experience has been invaluable to me in the actual selling of property.
So when we left Hout Bay and moved to Napier I realised that I would have to find employment which led me to doing the ‘Estate Agency Board Exam’ and so my long, exciting and fulfilling property career began in earnest.
What particularly attracted me to Napier is its rustic charm and especially all the old, quaint properties I encountered, with their abundance of Oregon floors, ceilings, doors & windows, old Dover stoves still in use and large, sprawling erfs. As I slowly worked my way through the stock, I found that every new property was more exciting and enchanting than the last, a veritable treasure trove. Selling property for which one has an intense interest and passion greatly facilitates the process.
My property sojourn has taken me on a remarkable journey, witnessing the growth and improvement of this picturesque village, with its chic coffee shops and establishments along the main road, yet retaining its old-world charm and rural character. I have experienced great joy listing, selling and matching newcomers to suitable homes and have a passionate interest in my occupation.
