My name is Debbie Smith and am I am Real Estate Agent with Pam Golding Properties Mozambique – where I specialize in the sales and rentals of both residential & commercial properties within Central Mozambique, mainly focusing on Beira, Chimoio & Tete zones. I am mainly based in the mining city of Tete whilst remotely managing Beira & Chimoio zones.
Born and raised in South Africa, I came to Tete 8 years ago seeking new business opportunities in what was, at the time, the booming days of the ‘coal rush’. From a visit that was supposed to last ten days, I became immersed in the culture and people of Mozambique and have never left! Cupid struck and I met my husband and today, I have assumed the role of a family maker being a devoted mother and wife.
I am an active and well-known member of the Tete community. I am very instrumental in connecting people and events and creating solutions within Tete and its community since then – thus birthing an events and marketing company that is also responsible for the renown “What’s on In Tete” – an informative magazine that is printed quarterly and offers information on events and services that Tete and the surrounds has to offer.
Working in real estate utilizes my great strengths which are, my passion for meeting people, extraordinary marketing instincts, working for the community, problem solving and creating new working relationships. This also allows me to see where I can offer support within the community with notable causes such as school feeding programs and organizing functions whilst bringing the community together through fun runs, dance and other social events. I am basically a ‘social bird’ in community circles running difference social and charitable events. In my free time, I love keeping fit as I believe in a fit body and a fit mind.
I am driven, I like to succeed and am always on the search for opportunities of any sort. My knowledge of Tete City, the people and what the marketplace has to offer is extensive and I am confident that I can offer the best advice and solutions to all clientele.
