Good day, my name is Pieter and I have been working with Pam Golding Properties in Lydenburg since 2009. I am a property and rental consultant. I specialise in residential and farm sales in the Lydenburg area. When I’m not doing that, I enjoy all activities involving the outdoors and nature. I have done many hiking trails in South Africa and my favourite would have to be the Otter trail. I like participating in mountain biking, spinning classes at the gym and I am also an active member of the local photography club. After completing my studies I started a career in Computer Programming, System Design and System Support, finishing as a Systems Manager for a major American outsourcing company. I was a part time co-owner of a property development company until 2003 and we built 10 houses over a 3 year period. I started working at Pam Golding as an intern agent and have since done my submission for my NQF4 qualification and I have also been registered with the EAAB since 2009. When I started I was responsible for managing the rental department until May 2015 and then sold my first property in 2010 under the guidance of a registered property consultant.

I have been involved in many successful property sale transactions and I can honestly say that this industry is my real passion in life. I am willing and actually give that extra consideration in finding a property that matches the special needs and requirements of the client in order to conclude each transaction successfully! Working in the real estate industry allows me to be more involved in my community on all levels. Being able to get involved in the full cycle of selling property is a fantastic experience, from listing and marketing the exclusive mandate until the registration is in the name of the happy new owner.

One of my most notable sales was a property I sold in Lydenburg for R1.95 million after the client and I viewed several properties over a two month period. The sale was conducted smoothly and successfully. Another sale I concluded was during a show day in January 2016, an offer to purchase for the property was signed on the Sunday. The buyers delivered all relevant documents to me by Monday morning. The documents were then sent to Ooba and a loan was approved in principle on Wednesday, by Friday the valuation was done by the bank and a final loan approval was granted. This is why I love what I do and being able to see the client happy at the end of the day is my ultimate goal and joy.
