Having lived and worked in Scarborough for many years, Marianne brings genuine local knowledge and a deep understanding of the community, its lifestyle and its distinctive property market.
Marianne has worked in residential property since 2012, building her career around the people and places that make Scarborough such a special part of Cape Town. Her approach is grounded in personal service, local insight and an appreciation for what buyers are really looking for when they choose to make this unique coastal village their home.
Her connection to Scarborough extends well beyond property. Marianne is part of the community she represents and understands first hand the appeal of its relaxed, close knit lifestyle, beautiful natural surroundings and strong sense of place. Before entering real estate, Marianne represented South Africa on the World Windsurfing Circuit and later ran her own transport company. These experiences gave her an international perspective, entrepreneurial experience and a strong appreciation for people and relationships.
In 2014, Marianne and her husband Russ bought Tranquilo, a 40 foot catamaran, and competed in the Cape to Rio Race. Their adventure subsequently developed into a two year sailing sabbatical, creating memories and experiences that ultimately brought Marianne back to the property industry and to Scarborough.
On returning home, Marianne joined forces with Tallulah Connors. Together they developed a shared vision centred on property, community and preserving the qualities that make Scarborough so distinctive. Their work has included helping buyers and sellers navigate the local market while remaining deeply connected to the village they call home.
