My last 20 years, with passion and dedication, reflect the achievements as set out above.
I am a qualified Franchisee with NQF5 and PDE (MPRE). I’ve successfully been selling in the Knysna and Plett area since 2001, when I was introduced to the real estate profession. I achieved GoldClub status already in the 2nd year, and successfully maintained that status, even after purchasing the Franchise in 2009, and then acquiring Plettenberg Bay in 2013. I sold the franchise in 2019, and currently enjoy my full selling status again as an Elite GoldClub Agent with Pam Golding.
I love this profession; it is dynamic and exciting. Working for PGP, always ‘ahead-of-the- Game’, keeps me motivated, informed and proud. I love the people I meet, and I love the challenge of finding clients their “SPOT in the sun”.
I have journeyed through the university of LIFE travelling and working extensively abroad in different walks of life. I am a well-experienced, successful and knowledgable sales agent and have achieved many sales here in the Knysna and Plett areas, such as one of the Noetzie Beach castles, as well as iconic sales on the Pezula Private and Golf Estates, Simola, as well as various hospitality properties.
I have been selling on Pezula Private Estate since the launch in 2003 with the developer Keith Stewart. I have been successful in sales and carry mandates currently on the web.
All PGP Exclusive Mandates are well exposed on our own website, Savills, and many other portals, such as Prop24 etc. I have a very strong marketing awareness on all social media pages targeted to reaching the ‘right’ client base.
I have lived and experienced so many different walks of life such as working for myself, as well as Manufacturing, Public Relations, Cosmetics, Travel & Sport. This has rewarded me with a keen perspective and insight to knowing and understanding the human psyche, to have empathy, tenacity and the power of communication with clients.
One of my passions over the last years, was establishing the Knysna Literary Festival. Linking the local community and all visitors to the rich tapestry of well-known South African authors. I founded the Pam Golding Knysna Literary Festival, now running in its 10th year, and have been nominated year after year for BASA awards.
When I am not engrossed in property, I walk, read, travel and enjoy entertaining, and holidays in the bush.
Our current project this year has been taking the quest of Mandela Day for the community with the Knysna Educational Trust, establishing a love for reading amongst young students - our future is in the hands of the little children.
