Hello, my name is Isla Galloway-Gaul and I am a Candidate Agent at Pam Golding Properties. My career in real estate is a natural progression of a long and varied business journey, shaped by a deep appreciation for people, homes, design and lifestyle.
Before entering real estate, I spent over 25 years in the office furniture industry. I served as Chairlady of Dauphin Human Design Group, a Bidvest company, for 16 years, where I was responsible for manufacturing and selling ergonomically advanced office seating and furniture under licence from Dauphin GmbH in Germany. This role gave me the privilege of working closely with a leading international manufacturer, as well as some of South Africa’s top architects, interior designers and corporate clients.
I was involved in every stage of the process, from the factory floor where products were brought to life, through to sales and project delivery, and I particularly enjoyed educating clients on the importance of ergonomics and thoughtful design in the workplace.
My years in business have laid a strong foundation for my move into real estate. I bring with me valuable life and commercial experience, and I place great importance on trust, integrity and caring for clients with both knowledge and empathy. Combined with my appreciation for design, strong sales background and committed work ethic, I see real estate as a meaningful extension of my professional journey. I am eager to learn from the best and to continue building my expertise within the industry.
Outside of work, I believe in living a balanced and appreciative life. I have enjoyed long distance running for many years, including completing several Comrades and Two Oceans Ultra Marathons. These days, I enjoy shorter runs, gym training and long walks. I also value time spent travelling with family and friends, experiencing different cultures and cuisines, and creating meaningful memories with my husband and daughter.
