Good day, I’m Gregg Rippon and I have been working with Pam Golding Properties since 1999. I specialize in selling agricultural properties in the Eastern Cape and surrounding areas.
I have 25 years’ experience selling property in the Eastern Cape and Karoo areas. I have been very fortunate to have been involved in selling farms that have become the Eastern Cape's Big 5 Game Farm success stories. It has been very satisfying to see how the interest in the Eastern Cape land and farms has increased and prices have shot up accordingly but still seem cheap compared to other areas in South Africa.
The Eastern Cape and the Grahamstown surrounding areas have become a very popular area to live in. The fact that a lot of farms have become Game Farms at the expense of Stock Farms is a trend that started in the early 2000’s but the market is ever changing so you can expect Cattle farms becoming prominent again. Recently local owners have invested heavily in top game genetics and are now reaping the rewards from the sale of these genetics.
We have regular sales taking place in our area in the game and cattle sectors, the fact that I was born in Grahamstown and having spent a lot of my childhood years on family farms instilled a passion that I have never lost. I have travelled my franchised area from one side to the next and back again many times! This experience has enabled me to gain a wealth of knowledge that I can now pass onto my clients.
To achieve success I have to continually improve my market and property knowledge, Pam Golding sees to it that I attend regular training which enables me to be an Emerald Circle agent which I am. I am very grateful to have been born and raised in the Eastern Cape and especially in Grahamstown because this little town has played such a big part in my life having being born and later schooled here as well.
