I was born in 1962 in Lusaka, Zambia. I was schooled in Salisbury, Rhodesia and moved to South Africa in 1978 with my family after my brother was shot in the Rhodesian Bush War.
We lived in Johannesburg for 7 years after which time I took off and hitchhiked around Europe, America and Australia for 2 years.
I returned to Zimbabwe in 1988 whereupon I was married. We returned to the United Kingdom where I worked as a Sales Agent for a Company in London called Flower Works of Art.
In the 90’s my small family returned to South Africa.
I worked at Dimension Data in Johannesburg, South Africa as a Software Installation Consultant and Training Manager on the Auto-Mate Motor Dealership System. It was during this time that my marriage sadly failed.
I bought a home for me and my son in Fourways and soon realised that due to the 8 – 4.30 nature of the IT business and the fact that I was now a Single Parent, I needed a career change that would enable more flexibility to spend more time with my Son.
In 1997, I trained in Real Estate and passed the South African Estate Agency Affairs Board exams.
I then left Dimension Data and joined Accolade Realty in Lonehill, my ‘farm’ was Dainfern and Dainfern Valley.
In 2002 I moved back to Zimbabwe and started working at Donovans Properties.
I left Donovans and joined Property Link and from there went to Action Properties.
During my time at Action Properties, Vanessa invited me to join her again at Pam Golding, Belgravia.
I am a keen Real Estate Professional with a passion for nature and by extension, land and Real Estate!
