We initiated Project Yeyethu – It is Ours – a collaboration with the celebrated street artist, Nathan Sanan, to share the joy we find in visual art and beautify our town. Our aim is to celebrate Gonubie, its environment, its community, culture and heritage. We want residents to be proud every time they drive past the site and visitors to be in awe of our community spirit – something we as residents experience daily. Along with the beautiful installations and works of art, Gonubie Main Road is not just a route anymore, but a scenic journey through the heart of the town.
