Hi my name is Wynand Dercksen,
I consider my self a people person with professional, self-driven ethics
and I am performance driven. I always a go that extra mile and never giving up.
I was drafted for National Services in 1984 and was trained and deployed as a paramedic soldier (Operational Medic). I completed my 2 years National Service with a Pro Patria medal and 2 letters for Exceptional Service.
In 1986 I joined Absa Bank (then Trust Bank) as Junior Clerk and had a successful career in banking, I resigning in 1995 at Regional Managers Level. During my Banking career I enrolled at the University of Pretoria (Tukkies) and studied part time. I graduated with a B. Com degree in Financial Management in 1993.
My Banking career was followed within the Insurance industry as an Absa Broker. A position I held for of 5 years and I excelled to a Top 50 Broker (SA). During this period, I gained an all-round experience in Marketing and Sales.
In the Private Sector I followed my career as a Financial Manager up to the level of Group Financial Manager with various businesses.
In 2012 I completed the Academic and Practical exams and earned the title of Professional Account (SA). Coupled with this I also was awarded with the title Tax Practitioner (SA).
In 2013 I started my own successful Accounting firm managing clients Accounting system, Financial Statements, Payrolls, Companies Registrar and all SARS related matters.
