Hello, I am Melissa Smit, and I have been specialising in residential sales in Brackenfell since 2016. I also serve as the Office Manager for the Pam Golding Properties Brackenfell team, where I oversee daily operations, support our agents and ensure that our clients experience the level of service and professionalism that our brand is known for.
Before entering the real estate industry, I worked as a corporate immigration specialist, assisting foreign nationals relocating to South Africa. Immigration is an intensely personal process that involves rebuilding one’s life in a new country and finding a place to call home. Guiding people through that transition made me realise how meaningful it is to help someone settle with confidence and clarity.
Real estate became a natural progression for me. It allows me to continue supporting clients through significant life decisions, whether they are buying, selling or simply exploring their options. I am committed to understanding each client’s needs and believe that dedication, clear communication and hard work create the best possible outcomes for everyone involved. Growing up in the northern suburbs of Cape Town gives me a valuable advantage, as I know the area well and can offer informed insight into the neighbourhoods I serve.
Outside of work, I enjoy relaxed road trips with my pets and spending time on landscape photography, a passion that keeps me connected to the beauty of the Western Cape.
