I entered the wonderful world of Real Estate in April 1987.
Over the past 36 years, this career has rewarded me with joy, passion, knowledge, lifelong friendships, freedom of thought, the business skills to make considered decisions and financial independence.
My resume starts in Johannesburg where I joined Wanda Bollo Estates and sold in Kensington. A supportive family business that guided me to find my feet in Real Estate. When Pam Golding Properties opened their Johannesburg operation, I joined Pam Golding Properties in early 1989 and sold in the suburb of Bedfordview. 2 Years later I was appointed as the Bedfordview Branch Manager and 2 years thereafter I was appointed as the first Hyde Park Branch Manager. I spent close to 7 years with Pam Golding in Johannesburg and I will be forever grateful to Pam, my absolute lifelong role model, for believing in me and at such a young age, giving me the amazing opportunities to learn and grow within her business.
In 1995 I was offered an opportunity to ultimately relocate to the Cape and after 18 Months at Seeff Sandton, I joined the executive of Seeff Properties at their Head Office in Cape Town. My portfolio of responsibility included overseeing the Marketing Department, the Training Department and the servicing of the Licenses/Licensees in the Western and Eastern Cape. I worked side by side with Samuel Seeff, from whom I learnt the inner workings of a Real Estate Business. This knowledge resulted in me buying the Seeff Western Seaboard Licence in September 1999. In 2008 I gave up all Head Office responsibilities and focused 100% on my business and it grew from strength to strength. We were annually multi Award Winners at our Conference.
In October 2012 I made a business decision to return to the Pam Golding Group. The Western Seaboard over the previous 12 years was one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in South Africa, having doubled in size and in the world of new developments and niche marketing of real estate, Pam Golding Properties is unparalleled. Our 6 offices on the Western Seaboard have grown beyond expectation. I have an amazing team of sales and rental agents, with true core values, who do Pam Golding Properties and I am proud every day. Again, we are annually recognised and awarded for our achievements by Andrew Golding and Pam Golding Properties.
I look back over the past 36 years and I thank all the people who believed in me, who worked with me and all our loyal clients for their continued support.
