Just next to Sunninghill, in the little suburb of Paulshof, residents will find the 25 hectare green space known as Rietfontein Nature Reserve. The FreeMe Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, based in the Reserve, heals and rehabilitates injured birds in order to release them back into the wild. There is also a beautiful and well-maintained 2.5km circular walking trail that provides a lovely pathway from which to sight a myriad of birds.
