Although we are seeing considerable interest from buyers, there is not enough stock to meet the ongoing demand, says Leonie Van der Sande, area specialist for Pam Golding Properties in Centurion. Homes are priced from R3.75 million to R47 million at the upper end of the market.

The family appeal is borne out by Lightstone’s property data, which shows that 76% of recent buyers (July 2018-July 2019), were between the ages of 36 and 49.
