The perfect Hermanus holiday awaits at this beautiful property with a spacious, warm home, enclosed yard, splash pool and unmatched ocean views. It is perfect for sun-seeking guests who require privacy, absolute comfort, a great location near amenities and solar power. With a full 180 degree ocean view from most parts of the home, it is one of the few properties that enjoys equally magnificent sunrises as they do sunsets. It is unaffected by load shedding. Upstairs is an open plan workstation and four bedrooms, all of which have en suite bathrooms and beautiful ocean views. Two of these bedrooms open up to the ocean facing balcony, with comfortable deck chairs and a table & chairs. Two of the bedrooms are ideal for parents with babies or toddlers. The fifth en suite bedroom is downstairs next to the kitchen, it features leather couches and a coffee table, with doors that open up to the courtyard area (this is an ideal room for someone with mobility limitations or a nanny). The ocean facing open plan living room, dining room, kitchen and breakfast areas are comfortably and elegantly decorated; the layout is ideal for entertainment. All windows boast direct ocean views. Doors lead out to the wide patio with the splash pool on the right hand side. Beautiful views of the New Harbour on the western side right through to the Grotto Beach in the distance in the east. The kitchen features a gas stove and all the necessities for guests who enjoy cooking. The laundry room and scullery/pantry are hidden from view. Also on the ground floor, on the northern side of the house is a TV room with doors to the beautiful garden and lawn for children to play. Pets are welcome although to the discretion of the landlord. A pet-deposit will be charged as security. The address on the western shore of Hermanus put guests in close proximity to the cliff path and also to the Hermanus CBD, Waterfront and New Harbour. The property is not serviced, but cleaning services can be arranged directly with a trusted service provider. Rental terms: * Electricity is pre-paid and for the guests' account (enough electricity will be provided to see guests through at least two days). * A once-off cleaning charge of R1,500 applies. * Pets need to be declared at the time of reservation enquiry and if accepted, a pet deposit of R1,500 applies (refundable if it is not necessary to deep clean furniture or fumigate the house afterwards). * A security deposit of 30% the value of the reservation applies (it will be invested in an interest bearing trust account and is refundable). * 50% of the reservation cost is payable, along with the deposit, once all paperwork is signed. * 50% of the reservation cost is payable at 40 days before arrival. * Minimum booking period is 10 nights. * Availability is between 10 December 2023 and 10 January 2024. * Maximum guests: 10 adults, or 12 if it includes 2 children.
