Victorian she was – Victorian she still is!

Nothing can change this era. She remains true to herself, this beautiful old house. The lovely front door opens into an entrance hall, with gleaming warm and welcoming wooden floors. Gracious rooms with high ceilings are the norm in this home and the living and dining rooms are no exception. The living room opens out through pretty French doors onto to the loveliest of verandahs shaded by a leafy vine which in turn looks out onto the garden and magnificent oak tree. The oak tree was planted about 80 years ago by a young boy, son of the owner at the time. This “young boy” recently paid a visit to his old home, now a man in his eighties!
