Livestock farm with water and potential

With some of the best grazing in the area and an abundance of water, this 1007 hectare farm falls in the mist triangle between Dullstroom and Belfast. The perennial Lakenvlei stream meanders through the farm. Three boreholes and a multitude of fountains provide the water on the farm. The property has been utilized as a cattle farm for the last 10 years and has excellent cattle handling facilities. The two wooden houses have no Eskom. The farm originates from 1850's and was one of the first to be used for agriculture in the Highveld east of Pretoria. The original stone walls dividing camps have been kept intact and ooze history and character. The renovated original stone homestead with easy access from the R540 could be utilized as a restaurant, complete with antique bread oven as well as a wagon shed and ablution facilities. The farm is divided into 20 camps and the arable land makes up about 150ha and is currently planted with eragrostis and maize. A 35sqm shed and a 200sqm open shed provides ample storage space for farm implements. Workers accommodation is available. This farm is an ideal livestock farm. The property is VAT registered but could easily be sold as a running concern with cattle and farm implements which can be negotiated separately. No land claims registered against this property.
