Hi, I am Carol Reynolds, Area Principal for the Durban Coastal franchise. I began my real estate career with Pam Golding Properties in 1994, while completing my LLB degree at University. I was then fortunate enough to win Miss Universe SA in 1996, which took me on an exciting path of television, travel, eventing and public speaking. I have always had a passion for property, so it didn’t take me long to get back in the game.
In 2000 I worked as an estate agent in the Pam Golding Hout Bay office and then relocated to Durban in 2008 to manage the Durban office. I now run the Durban North and Umhlanga offices and am enjoying being in this exciting growth node. I am a mother of two gorgeous children, so when I am not busy with property, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
I am very fortunate in that my academic background has enabled me to bring an interesting mix of skills into my business practice. I believe in ongoing self-development and hence I am a perpetual student with several degrees: a Bachelor of Social Science; a Bachelor of Laws; an Honours in Psychology; an Honours in Management and a Master’s Degree in Psychology. The combination of Law, Psychology and Management has enabled me to assist my agents with everything from contracts to coaching and sales skills. I have an NQF8 qualification in Real Estate and have almost twenty years of real estate experience - but now I'm revealing my age!
I am passionate about people and property, and I love being part of the Pam Golding family. Outside of real estate, I am an avid yogi and I enjoy gardening, decorating and renovating properties. My greatest passion is yoga and I teach yoga from a little studio which I have set up at my home. It's the best way to start my day! My friends and family mean the world to me, so quality time with loved ones is high on my list of priorities.
From a business perspective, developments are my absolute passion! In fact, I enjoy everything from conceptualising, to marketing, to selling and investing in them. At any given time, we are marketing at least two developments in our North Durban territory and we have established ourselves as the development market leader in our area.
