PAM GOLDING PROPERTIES AND THE HILL FAMILY LEND A HELPING HAND
Nkoyisayabo Lose (far left) of the Bitou Municipality; Siphiwe Dladla (second from left at the rear) from the Bitou 10 Foundation; Kym Stroebel, marketing manager and Greg Stroebel, area principal for Pam Golding Properties, seen with some of the formerly homeless people outside their new homes, which have now been furnished.
Eleven families in the Kranshoek township in Plettenberg Bay now have furniture thanks to Lee and Felicity Hill and Pam Golding Properties.

Alliance
Says Greg Stroebel, area principal in Plettenberg Bay for Pam Golding Properties: “In our efforts to give back to the local community, we’ve formed an alliance with the Bitou 10 Foundation, a local charity, which assists disadvantaged people, and they let us know when they have a specific need.

Furniture Needed
“As the local Bitou Municipality had just completed building 11 homes for a number of homeless people who had been living in a dump site, the Bitou 10 Foundation approached us as they were seeking furniture and household goods for the homes.

Hill Family Donation
“As it happened, we sold a holiday home owned by Lee and Felicity Hill, who had no further need for the furniture in the house, and when we approached them regarding the dire need of these previously homeless people they were delighted to donate their household goods to furnish these 11 homes,” says Stroebel.

Bitou Foundation

While the Bitou Foundation is primarily involved in education, as they are so closely involved in the local community they are very aware of the needs of the disadvantaged as well as in crisis situations such as fires, floods etc.

Give Support
Anyone wishing to donate any items such as blankets, food and clothing to help the Bitou 10 Foundation assist the community through the cold winter months can drop these off at the Pam Golding Properties office in the Lookout Centre in Main Street, Plettenberg Bay.

For further information contact Kym Stroebel of Pam Golding Properties on +27 (0) 44 533 2103 or email her here
