IT ALL FALLS INTO PLACE FOR WINNERS OF DAINFERN AMATEUR LADIES GOLFING EVENT

“For me golf is an unpredictable game in which everything just falls into place on some days.” So said Glenda Rae who along with golf partner Sally Chalmers is the winner of the Dainfern leg of the Pam Golding Properties Ladies Amateur Golf Series 2011/12. “This was one of those days when everything worked out perfectly for us.”

In fact humble Glenda’s game seems to be a great deal more consistent than she suggests. She apparently also reached the semi finals of the PGP Golf Series two years ago. This year she and Sally scored 50 points to win the Dainfern event.

Sally usually plays at Bryanston Country Club while Glenda is with Dainfern Country Club. Glenda observes that she started playing golf 16 years ago when she moved to Dainfern and has been hooked on the game ever since. “Pam Golding Properties puts so much effort into the event and it is always extremely well organised,” she points out.

Richard Day, National General Manager Pam Golding Property Group, says the Pam Golding Ladies Amateur Golf Series 2011/12 will see a total of 10 events hosted around the country between July 2011 and the final in March 2012. The final will take place at the premier golf course resort of Fancourt on the Garden Route. According to Day this is the seventh year of this highly successful series, which demonstrates the Pam Golding Property Group’s commitment to ladies golf in South Africa.
