The village residents are an intimate community making it an ideal place for vacations where even in peak season it is not over crowded. Children can safely ride their bicycles in the quiet streets or walk to the tennis courts.

For the more adventurous there are a host of activities including wind surfing and kite boarding, Cannon Rocks is reputed to be amongst the best kite boarding destinations in South Africa.
Popular amongst golfers we are close to the magnificent Gary Player championship course at the Fish River Sun and Port Alfred Golf Course one of only 5 Royals in South Africa.
Other activities in the area include a kite surfing school, deep sea fishing, whale charters and hiking.
